2022 Plans - Important Update

Hello Parents.
Recently, some of the CoderDojo Navan team met online to discuss how and when we might be able to resume the classes again. Unfortunately the Unity Centre still has Covid restrictions in place and therefore it’s still not feasible to run any classes there at this time.
Even on October 22nd (when some easing of restrictions will be announced), we’re still unsure as to what impact this may have on the Unity Centre.
Online Scratch Projects

Due to the current Covid restrictions, unfortunately we’re still not able to run our normal face-to-face CoderDojo classes this year. In the meantime, we have 1 Scratch project (Beginners or Advanced) we’d like you to attempt over the next 2 weeks.

2019 Autumn Classes

We will be returning to the Unity Centre on Saturday the 5th of October for 6 sessions.
Please note that the sessions are strictly admittance ticket ONLY.
To attend this event you must book a ticket for all attendees wishing to attend.
The following courses will be running in this session Beginners Scratch Intermediate Scratch Arduino Classes will run from 10.30 to 12.30 (15 min break) Saturday, October 5th Saturday, October 12th Saturday, October 19th Saturday, November 9th Saturday, November 16th Saturday, November 23rd
2019 Spring Classes

We will be returning to the Unity Centre on Saturday the 26th of January for 6 sessions.
We’re sorry but due to a shortage of mentors, we are forced to restrict the number of children in each class to less than our normal numbers.
Please note that the sessions are strictly admittance ticket ONLY.

URGENT APPEAL, new lead mentors required.
If you or anyone you know that works in IT, that you think might be interested in leading/assisting a class for 6 sessions (Sat mornings for 2 hours starting Jan 26th) please contact us at: coderdojonavan@gmail.com
Examples of classes provided are Web Design, App inventor, Arduino and Robotics. We also welcome any other new IT subjects of interest for teens/young children to learn.
